Pocket DVD Wizard Screenshots

The Pocket DVD Wizard has been designed to be easy to use by anyone, regardless of your ability.

The screen shots below give you an idea of the process needed to convert DVD video into a file you can play on your Pocket PC, Portable Media Center or Windows CE handheld device.

Application Start

This is first screen you will see when you start the full version of the Pocket DVD Wizard.

It is fairly self explanatory, all you need to do is insert the DVD you would like to transfer to your Pocket PC, then click the 'Select a DVD' button to choose a track from the DVD.

Once you have selected a track, you will be given the option to select the output format, and preview the DVD playback.

You can also select other options from the options menu, such as the quality level of the conversion, or the type of processor you have (it is possible on some Pc's to speed up the process by using specific features on the processor.)

Next, the content from the DVD is captured ready for conversion

Finished!

When the Wizard has finished, it will display a screen like this...

When you have finished, all you need to do is copy the output to your Pocket PC (or other handheld device) and you can play your DVD content on your Pocket PC!

The Pocket DVD Wizard is a tool designed to allow you to backup personal DVD video for personal use. (e.g. backup home movies or non encrypted television shows recorded with a DVD recorder) and transfer these to a handheld device to watch later.

The software is licensed for personal backup use only and may only be used where legally permitted. It is your responsibility to ensure backup of your DVD and video files is legally permitted in your state and country. Unauthorized or improper use of this software is strictly prohibited and may be subject to severe penalties. You may not distribute files created by the software to others.

This software is not designed or produced to circumvent technology that effectively protects access to, or restricts the duplication of copyrighted material. It has a commercially significant purpose other than to circumvent such technology; being primarily designed to backup home movies, tv programming and personal video files from a users hard drive and/or on removable media. It does not produce digitally identical copies. All backups are created to a highly 'lossy' compressed file. The sole purpose of the Pocket DVD Wizard is to enable a platform and time shift allowing playback of personal, lawfully acquired content on a handheld device.
