Watch DVDs on your Kodak Picture Frame

We have added conversion for Kodak Picture Frames (also know as Kodak photo frames) in version 5.01 of the Pocket DVD Wizard.

The addition was made shortly after one of the software programmers bought a frame for a relative (Christmas 2007).

They saw the fact the frame said it would show video and wanted to put some old cine film clips that had been converted to DVD onto the picture frame in addition to the usual photos, but could not find an easy way to add them.

The engineers set to the job in hand, and the new conversion was added in v5.01.

The Pocket DVD Wizard now lets you convert DVDs or video files for the picture frame. The models tested are the SV711, EX811 and EX1011 although most other Kodak models should also work.

The Kodak SV711 is a widescreen conversion, whilst the EX811 video conversion is more conventional as the format of the frame is closer to the 8x10 photo format.

Whilst the Kodak picture frame is not exactly a pocket device, converting dvd content of family memories was exactly what the software was originally designed to do for the Pocket PC so it made sense to make the DVD to Kodak photo frame option available to all users of the software.

Not just the Kodak Picture Frame

With the Pocket DVD Wizard, you can also convert to most makes and models of portable media player.

This will probably include your phone, mp3 player and many more devices. You do not need a separate license for each device you want to convert for.

You do not need to learn about different video formats, codecs or bit rates, screens that vary in size and brightness or the audio capabilities of your device, we have already done that for you. You simply select the device you want to convert the DVD to from the drop down box using the Wizard step by step interface. Its easy because its been designed that way.

We are adding support for new devices all the time. As upgrades to the latest version are free, if in six months time you buy a new media player for your kids or upgrade your phone, you won't need to buy new video conversion software for it.
