Watch your DVD videos on your Archos Media Player

Support for Archos AV series players was added to the Pocket DVD Wizard in version 3.

The Wizard supports both the WMV and AVI outputs required by Archos media players.   Some play one format,  others play the other,  and a few (eg the AV700) will play both.

Tried and tested

The Pocket DVD Wizard is tried and tested with Archos players,  we do not just work from technical specifications.

You do not need to learn about different codecs and bit rates,  screens that vary in size and brightness or the audio capabilities of your Archos player,  we have already done that for you.

How to convert DVD video for the Archos

Simply download and install the latest version of the Pocket DVD Wizard from http://www.pocketdvdwizard.com/download.html

The installer will place an icon on your desktop,  click this to start the application,  then click the large 'Select a DVD' button (shown above on the left of the screen shot).

The Wizard will then take you through the options,  step by step.  When you get to the select a device option simply select the Archos,  either the 'Archos WMV' or 'Archos AVI' should work.  If you find one will not play on your player,  try the software again and select the other.

The Pocket DVD Wizard will then do its magic and create a file you can copy to your Archos using the supplied USB cable.
