About the Pocket DVD WizardThe Pocket DVD Wizard is a software application written by The Coding Workshop Ltd. The Coding Workshop was formed 10 years ago, initially releasing software designed the help users put new ring tones onto mobile cell phones without using high priced premium ring tone services. As phones became more advanced many added video players, the Pocket DVD Wizard was born! Using the extensive knowledge and experience we acquired from the development of the ring tone software, and further developing the easy to use wizard interface, the Pocket DVD Wizard helps users convert full length DVD and video content to work on their phones, PDA devices or almost any other multimedia handheld device. What does the Pocket DVD Wizard do?The Pocket DVD Wizard lets you use your desktop or laptop Windows PC to convert your DVD and video files into files your handheld device can play, without additional expensive software or hardware. You do not need a separate version of the Pocket DVD Wizard for different devices, if you have a Pocket PC, iPod and phone you can use the same copy of the software to convert video for all three devices and more! Now, with bigger and bigger memory cards available for less and less you can get hours of TV or video onto your Pocket PC or iPhone, enough for the longest car or rail journey or even a transatlantic flight. Tried and tested with your deviceWhen you buy the Pocket DVD Wizard you are buying what we consider to the very best because it has been tried and tested on your device. Where possible we do not simply work from 'technical specifications' but test the output on a real device. You do not need to learn about different codecs and bit rates, screens that vary in size and brightness or the audio capabilities of your device as we have already done that for you. You simply select the device you own from the drop down box using the Wizard step by step interface. Its easy because its been designed that way. Support for more devices - Free upgradesWe now support almost every major make and model of video player so the chances are whatever pocket device you have, we already have it available in the Pocket DVD Wizard. As upgrades to the latest version are free, if in six months time you buy a new video player for your kids you won't need to buy a new piece of conversion software for it. If there is a device we do not currently support and you would like us to add, please let us know and we will see what we can do.
